~State-of-the-art experience center aimed at raising awareness and driving the adoption of rooftop solar, transforming the customer experience and reshaping the rooftop solar landscape.
India, October 23, 2024: Hyderabad-based startup Freyr Energy, one of India’s fastest-growing solar companies, proudly announces the launch of its Solar Experience Centre for the first time in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, on October 23rd. The solar experience center will allow customers to interact with every component of a solar system, such as the latest technology panels and other essential solar system components like inverters, ACDB and DCDB boxes, earthing cables, AC/DC cables, lightning arresters and galvanized iron structures for modules. This omnichannel approach complements the Freyr Energy App, where customers can get an instant quote, immediate loan approvals and track installation and system performance in real-time. It will help them understand what separates a great solar system – that will maximize savings, from a regular system. By providing an interactive, transparent, and accessible platform, Freyr Energy seeks to drive informed decision-making and accelerate the adoption of solar energy.
The initiative aligns with the government’s PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, supporting the solar vision and sustainability goals of India by encouraging both residential and commercial solar adoption in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Through the establishment of these centres, Freyr Energy aims to unlock the untapped potential of solar energy in smaller cities and rural areas, creating several employment opportunities as part of its expansion. “We are addressing the growing demand for sustainable energy where solar adoption is set to increase significantly. By bringing high-quality, large-scale solar panels and systems closer to customers, we are paving the way for greater adoption of rooftop solar on India’s road to Net-Zero.
“What sets Freyr Energy apart is our goal to provide a uniform customer experience to our customers across the country and ensure everyone has access to the highest-quality solar solutions. The Solar Experience Centre will help us foster a deeper connection with customers and make their decision to switch to solar simple. In the coming months, we will open one such centre in every city that we operate in.” said Radhika Choudary, Director of Freyr Energy.
Saurabh Marda, Managing Director of Freyr Energy, added, “A solar system typically lasts over 25 years, making it a long-term investment for customers. While solar systems require minimal maintenance, having reliable after-sales support is crucial for any critical needs that may arise. Establishing this physical centre in Vishakhapatnam strengthens our brand presence and builds deeper trust with our customers by offering direct interaction and support. We believe that this unique approach will encourage more people to transition to solar energy, driving the growth of both Freyr Energy and the adoption of sustainable energy solutions across India,” said Saurabh Marda, Managing Director of Freyr Energy.”
Ms.Aditi Vijayalakshmi Gajapati Raju Pusapati, MLA of Vizianagaram said “I am honored to be a part of the launch of Rooftop Solar Experience Center in Visakhapatnam. This initiative marks a significant step towards sustainable and clean energy adoption. By empowering individuals and businesses to harness the power of solar energy, we are contributing to a greener future and promoting self-reliance in energy generation. I hope this centre will inspire many to join the movement towards a more sustainable tomorrow.”
